Ilia Kukin

In March 2022, I completed my law degree at the Humboldt University in Berlin. I majored in English Law at King's College London, which allowed me to get to know a different legal system. Currently, I am completing my legal clerkship at the LG Cottbus.

I was able to gain experience in the field of data protection during a one-year period as a student trainee in the data protection department of an internationally active corporation. The main focus of my work was on the internal implementation of legal requirements (data protection management system, internal guidelines, risk assessment, etc.) as well as legal research on various issues of data protection law in the EU, but also on the legal situation in the UK, Russia and some other countries.
