Alexander Weiss

I completed my law studies with a focus on intellectual property law at the Humboldt University of Berlin in 2017. During this time, I worked for several years as a student assistant at a chair for civil law, in particular private international law and comparative law, where I mainly dealt with issues in IT and copyright law.

From 2017 to 2019, I worked as a research assistant at an internationally oriented multidisciplinary business law firm in the area of legal tech. I focussed on legal issues in the field of legal tech and the digitalization of law.

Subsequently, I completed my legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Berlin, which I finished in 2022 with the second state exam. The legal focus of this practical training was on IP, IT, and data protection law, and I completed stations at the data protection officer of a state broadcasting company, an international music company, a business law firm in Berlin, and an international business law firm with a technology focus in Hamburg.
